Catalogue

All Assets synced from your source systems will be available in the Catalogue.

In Loome, an asset is any object or report pulled from a data source. For example, Power BI reports, Loome jobs and tasks, and ADF pipelines.

The catalogue will display each asset in your selected view type, in a table, hierarchical table or a card view.

In the Catalogue, you can view an embedded asset, view and edit information, tags and attributes, follow a link to view or edit an asset, and add discussions about an asset.

In the Catalogue table, you can view the following information.

  • Asset Name: The name of the asset.
  • Category: The category of the asset such as Content, Data Pipeline, Infrastructure Resource, Quality Rule, and Source System. This is dependent on the type of source systems you have synced.
  • Sub Category: The sub category of the above category, such as a connection, rule, task, solution collection, workstation or cluster definition. This is dependent on the type of source systems you have synced.
  • Group: This will display the group the asset is a part of, such as the Project name.
  • Asset Type: This displays the type of asset.
  • Status: This will show the status of an asset and will depend on the asset type, such as success, failure, cancelled, validated, not validated, and not verified.
  • Authored By: This will display who created the asset.
