Source Systems
You can add source systems to the Loome Portal and all assets from these sources will be available in the Portal.
Syncing a source system will pull reports and data sources you want to transfer into the Portal all at once. Loome can automatically import and sync these assets, instead of manually adding each report.
There are currently five types of sources:
- Loome Integrate
- Loome Monitor
- Loome Assist
- Azure Data Factory
- Power BI
After you have imported reports and data sources, you can later sync it again at any time or set up a schedule to automatically sync it at your set time. In this new sync, Loome will pick up any new reports or data sources and update any new changes made to existing assets.

Will I receive notifications when syncing Source Systems?
Users will receive notifications depending on their chosen condition.
You can choose to ‘Notify on Success or Failure’ or ‘Only Notify on Failure’.
‘Notify on Success or Failure’ will notify you at the end of a sync.
‘Only Notify on Failure’ will notify you if the sync failed or there was an error during sync.
When a source sync meets these conditions, Loome will send an email to notify administrators.
Please note that if you have disabled notifications in your notification settings (found at the top-right of notifications under the settings cog), you will not receive emails even if it is enabled here.
