Solution Collection Repositories
On the Solution Collection Repositories page, administrators can create, modify and remove solution collection repositories.
The solution collections you find when adding resources in a project are sourced from these solution collection repositories. Here, you will be able to view all repositories and you can add any new repositories needed to source your solution collections.
You will find Verified Solution Collection Repositories on this page. A Verified Solution Collection Repository is sourced from a verified publisher.
At the top of the page, you can also view the ‘Tenant Solution Collection Repositories’ tab. In the ‘Tenant Solution Collection Repositories’ tab , you can find any Solution Collection Repositories that were added to the tenant. These are not verified and are provided by users of the tenant.
You can click on the name of a solution collection repository to view the details of the repository.
You can choose to show or hide repositories and this will change whether solution collections of the repository are displayed when users are adding resources to a project. If you hide a repository, users will not be able to add a solution collection from that repository.
How to Add a Solution Collection Repository
To add a solution collection repository, choose the ‘Tenant Solution Collection Repositories’ section tab at the top of the page.
Click on Add at the top right of the page. If there are no tenant solution collection repositories, you can also use the button in the center ‘New Solution Collection Repository’.
You will first need to provide a name so you can easily identify this later.
Then choose a token lifetime that can be either 3, 6, or 12 months.
You will also choose whether to show repositories when provisioning a solution collection. If you hide repositories, solution collections in this repository will not be shown to users when adding a solution collection to a project.
Click Create to add this repository.
How to Manage Solution Collection Repositories
Once created, it will be added to the ‘Tenant Solution Collection Repositories’ section.
You can view the details of this solution collection repository by clicking on either the name of the solution collection or the View Details button and it will display the container name, container URL, storage account name, SAS token and SAS token expiry, as well as whether it will show repositories when provisioning a solution collection.
You can also find the storage account, container URL, SAS token and SAS token expiry beside the name of each solution collection repository.
SAS Token
When viewing the details of the solution collection, you can copy your SAS token for this solution collection repository. Click Copy on the right of the SAS token.
You can also choose to regenerate a new SAS token for a solution collection repository. Click on Regenerate SAS Key on the right of the repository.
If you choose to generate a new key for this solution collection, choose the new lifetime of this key.
You can view when the SAS token key will expire in the table beside the SAS key or in the details view.
All administrators will be emailed a week before a token is going to expire. Loome will update a token that has one week to expire and will notify you that you need to update your push method with this new token.
Display or Hide Solution Collection Repositories
You can show or hide a tenant solution collection repository on the right of each row.
Delete Solution Collection Repositories
You can delete a solution collection repository using the Delete button at the end of each row.
Template Settings
Select Which Accounts Can Use a Specific Solution Collection Template
You can choose to set whether you want a solution collection template to be available to all accounts or only selected accounts.
If you choose to make a specific solution collection template available only to selected accounts, the template will only display in the projects that use your selected accounts. Any projects that do not use your selected accounts will not have access to the solution collection template.
Click on the dropdown on the left of the solution collection repository. This will expand on the solution collections available in this repository.
Template actions are available on the right of the row of a solution collection template.
Click on Template Settings.
Set whether this template will be available to all accounts or only to selected accounts.
For ‘Selected Accounts’, choose the accounts that this template will be available in by checking the checkbox beside the account. Projects that use an account that was not selected here will no longer be able to access this template.
